Market Definition:

This segment considers advertising spend in both traditional print and online magazines – either direct through magazine websites or via magazines distributed directly to a mobile device. Magazines published under contract (custom magazines/contract or custom publishing) are included in the print advertising section.

Consumer spending includes circulation revenues and is split as spending by readers direct from retail outlets or via subscriptions in print and via downloads of individual copies or subscriptions delivered digitally direct to a mobile device.
